FY-25-26-04 RTU and VAV Replacements

Project Description: Reading Area Community College (RACC) is seeking bids from qualified Contractors to provide bids for Rooftop Units and VAV unit replacements Bids will be received by RACC via the PennBid platform at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com by PM Eastern Standard Time.
This will be a fixed priced with Community Development Block Grant requirements.
A Mandatory Pre-bid Conference will be held on Nov 6th , 2025 @ 9:00 am in Yocum Library Room 117.
All written requests for clarifications must be submitted by 12:00 PM on Wednesday Nov 12, 2025. Requests must be submitted in writing through the PennBid platform.
Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents via the “Ask A Question" feature in PennBid no later than Wednesday Nov 12, 2025 at 12:00 PM . Responses to questions which require an addendum or changes to the Bidding Documents will be issued via a Public Notice and posted on PennBid. Bidders who have registered with and downloaded documents for this project from PennBid will be notified by email when a change or addenda has been posted. Note that only written information supplied to Proposers, including responses to questions regarding the RFP, should be used in preparing proposals. Any and all other contacts or information received regarding the subject prior to the releasing of this RFP should be disregarded in preparing responses and may not be relied upon
Responses to clarifications will be posted to PennBid by 10:00 AM on Monday 17 Nov 2025.
All Bids must be received by for the above project through the PennBid portal.
RACC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities, omissions, errors, mistakes, or defects in any Bid, or to accept or reject any or all bids at its sole discretion in the best interest of the College. The Contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days from the opening of the bids. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by the Owner.
