The City of Council Bluffs, Iowa (City), is requesting bids for dumpster services from qualified and insured companies, herein called Bidder/Supplier/Contractor. All necessary personnel, supervision, materials and equipment to be provided by the Bidder and prices included in the bid should reflect the same.
This is an all or nothing
bid and will be awarded to one Bidder.
The the work under this bid will be administered and overseen by an authorized designee of the Public Works Department.
The contract shall be for 36 months upon contract execution. If it is agreeable to both the City and the Bidder, the City reserves the right to extend this contract for three (3) additional one (1) year periods. If the contract is extended, years 4, 5, and 6 each shall have a three (3) percent increase added to the bid rates. Bidder is required to submit proposed terms for the extension 90 days prior to the date of termination. City shall either accept or reject the proposed terms at least 60 days prior to termination. If Bidder does not submit a proposal 90 days prior to the termination date, the agreement terminates at the end of the negotiated term.
