Pest Control for City of Davis Facilities

The City of Davis, Department of Public Works Utilities and Operations is seeking proposals from qualified pest control contractors to furnish all labor, materials, parts, equipment, and all work necessary and incidental to perform recurring structural pest control services as outlined in the Scope of Services section. All facilities (listed in Appendix C) are owned and maintained by the City. All but one facility is located within the City of Davis jurisdictional boundaries. The Wastewater Treatment Plant is located approx. 3 miles outside City limits. Example structures to be serviced include fire and police stations, administrative buildings, corporation yard buildings, associated out buildings, and other public facilities.

The City intends to select one pest control contractor and enter into a two (2) year agreement with the City’s right to renew the agreement, under the same terms and conditions, for up to three (3) additional one (1) year periods.

Contractor must be registered and licensed in the State of California, including applicable Department of Pesticide Regulation license(s)/certifications required to provide vertebrate and invertebrate pest control services. Contractor will be required to adhere to the City’s IPM Policy and Procedures (Appendix A).

Optional pre-proposal site information presentation: Monday, September 22, 2025 at 8-10am at Davis Community Chambers, 23 Russell Blvd., Davis, CA (RSVP required by September 19, to JMcnerney@cityofdavis.org ).

Questions about this RFP are required to be submitted to JMcnerney@cityofdavis.org by September 26, 2025. Questions submitted after the due date or via phone will not be accepted. All substantive questions and answers will be published below (in PDF) and distributed to applicants.

Submittal Information

Contractors interested in submitting a proposal for this project should respond to this RFP with a written proposal via email providing all the information requested. The proposal will be considered complete only if all of the items listed under the Proposal Requirements are included.
