Specifications and/or Special Conditions

SPECIFICATIONS FOR TWENTY (20) CUBIC YARD OPEN TOP RECTANGULAR STYLE ROLL-OFF CONTAINERS

1. DIMENSIONS: Twenty-two (22) foot long; eight (8) foot wide; forty-two (42) inches high.

2. FLOOR: One quarter inch (1/4”) thick with eighty-four inch (84”) wide floor sheets. Two (2) one inch (1”) drain holes to be drilled at the front, half-way between each side of the “dog house” and the side wall and two inches (2”) from the front wall. Seven (7) gauge rail gussets welded to floor and cross members.

3. UNDERSTRUCTURE: Three inch (3”) structural channel with eighteen inch (18”) centers.

4. RAILS: Six inch by two inch by one quarter inch (6”x2”x1/4”) rectangular tube; one piece.

5. RAIL ROLLERS: Minimum four inch by four and one half inch (4”x4-1/2”) machined casting nose rollers with recessed grease fittings and bull nose support for each roller to withstand abuse.

6. FRONT AND REAR GROUND ROLLERS: Eight inch by eight inch (8”x8”) greasable wheels; one on each corner; must not extend more than the width of the container.

7. PULL HOOK: One and one quarter inch (1-1/4”) hook with one inch (1”) plate welded through floor.

8. FRONT AND SIDES: Seven (7) gauge with straight sides and twelve (12) gauge vertical post with “V” notches at the bottom, welded to the floor on the outside on twenty-four inch (24”) centers. Front sheet bent 90 degrees to overlap side wall.

9. DOOR: Seven (7) gauge, four inch by three inch by three-sixteen inch (4”x3”x3/16”) tubing with three (3) vertical support posts.

10. DOOR HINGES: Minimum of two (2) hinges per container. Triple joint hinges with grease fittings and one-half inch (1/2”) plate and one and three-quarter inch (1-3/4”) O.D. by one and one-eighth inch (1-1/8”) I.D. round tube for one and one sixteenth inch (1-1/16”) pin.

11. DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY: Slam lock, with heavy duty handle and driver’s side operation.

12. REAR CORNER POSTS: Minimum three inch by six inch (3”x6”) structural tubing.

13. PAINT: Containers shall be scraped, ground, and free of sharp edges. All surfaces to be thoroughly cleaned and primed with one coat of Kern-Flash E61A 700 Low V.O.C. primer or equivalent, followed by one coat forest green or equivalent color paint.

14. DECALS: In compliance with all standard safety regulation.

15. DELIVERY: To be made no later than thirty (30) days after issuance of purchase order, by email, to selected vendor.
