The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is issuing a limited competition Request for Quote (RFQ) for the purchase order of 75 AFC, BODY 2 "A" FLEET 61 SR 2307_3200-3274 parts kits, required for the midlife overhaul of its SR2307 Fleet 61. This effort supports WMATA's Bus Maintenance (BMNT) Heavy Overhaul and Maintenance Team (HOMT) in overhauling up to 75 SR2307 Fleet 61 buses. Midlife overhaul program aims to repair, replace, and refurbish buses approximately midway through their 15-year lifecycle to maintain a state of good repair.
