Title: Southside Park Stormwater Improvement

Greenville County is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for Southside Park improvements near Simpsonville, SC.
Stormwater Management Scope: Install bioretention cell, pervious pavers, infiltration trenches, bioswales, and other stormwater infrastructure as shown in the plans to reduce runoff and enhance water quality in the Reedy River watershed.
Site and Access Improvements: Remove existing main drive and replace using cement modified recycled base; repave existing parking lots and create/connect two existing parking lots; install new sidewalks and remove existing asphalt walking path; install new staircases and accesses at various locations throughout the park; install ADA access ramps and speed tables.
Park Amenities: Expand existing field; install shade structures and benches.
Utilities: Design, install, and permit new septic drain field for existing bathrooms.
All work shall conform to the attached plans, details, bid sheet, and specifications. Completion deadline: May 1, 2026.
This project is one of many RIA (SCIIP) funded water quality improvement projects by Greenville County that are intended to complete instruction by May 1, 2026.
