Alberta Social Housing Corporation

Request for Expression of Interest (the "RFEOI") is seeking information and input from industry stakeholders. This input is for the purposes of exploring potential options for the provision of “ready to move” (prefabricated; modular) healthcare facilities to sites throughout Alberta to be used as temporary facilities for Continuing Care (“CC”) or Alternative Level of Care (“ALC”) residents, known hereafter as ‘the Project.’ Specifically, the Housing Division wants to:

• Determine industry's interest in participating in the delivery of “ready to move” healthcare facilities in support of the Project;
• Understand the industry’s capacity and availability (production schedule) to provide “ready to move” facilities with healthcare capabilities to different regions of the province that comply with Alberta’s Continuing Care Design Standards and Best Practices;
• Understand what configuration options, scale, and variation may be available to fulfill the healthcare requirements of CC and ALC residents;
• Understand the risks and/or delivery conditions needed to participate in the Project; and
• Identify the potential next steps in the Project’s determination process.
