Park Impact Fee Update

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS:PARK IMPACT FEE UPDATE RFQ Documents

Notice is hereby given that the City of Kent, Washington, is seeking sealed responses to a Request For Qualifications. Submittals will be accepted by the Kent City Clerk’s office at 220 Fourth Ave. South, Kent, WA 98032 until 5:00 pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Submittals of qualification must be received by the above-stated time, regardless of delivery method, including U.S. Mail.

The selected firm will work with the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department to study creating a Park Impact Fee for the City of Kent. Work will entail exploration of all aspects of a park impact fee update. Key deliverables include but are not limited to meetings, project planning and stakeholder engagement, research, creation of a draft study, stakeholder presentations and refinement into a final study. A detailed scope will be developed with the selected firm.
