RFP: Employee Benefits Broker/Consultant

The County of San Mateo Human Resources Department is conducting a request for proposals (RFP) for its Employee Benefits broker-consultant.

The County of San Mateo, immediately south of the City and County of San Francisco, serves a diverse population of 750,000 residents. The County government employs 8,400 full- and part-time employees, all of which are eligible for much of the County's benefits and wellness programs (separate from the County's defined benefit retirement plan). The broker-consultant services virtually all of the benefits and wellness programs.

For this RFP, the broker-consultant's plans and lines of coverage are as follows:
