Synopsis
The solicitation seeks proposals from prospective Offerors to provide weather forecasting services to the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission (MHTC) and Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT). The weather forecasting services provided shall include a website and smartphone application that provides 72-hour winter precipitation forecasts and 48-hour pavement and bridge temperature, frost and winter precipitation accumulation forecasts tailored for all the counties in the state of Missouri and supported 24-hours a day and seven (7) days a week. The contract period will be from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029, with up to two (2) one-year renewal periods or any portion thereof. MoDOT will receive proposals electronically through MissouriBUYS, by mail through USPS, UPS, or FEDEX. If an Offeror intends to submit a hard copy proposal, the buyer of record must be notified five (5) days before the solicitation closing date. MoDOT will not accept proposal submissions by email.
