DMA-ITB-336 - Range Gates Solicitation

This Invitation to Bid is for the fabrication and installation of 31 Sch40 steel double roadblock gates at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center in Starke, Florida.  The winning contractor will provide and install 2-gates, 2-96" gate posts, 2-72"x 2” Sch40 gate stop posts and 1 new combination lock (Master Lock 175DLH) per gate location. (31 locations). Gates and posts are to be fabricated per attached drawing. Each of the gates are in different locations, bidders are to familiarize themselves with the provided map which shows the location of each double gate, before submitting their bid and understand some of the gate locations could be off limits during training activities.  All gates, posts, and gate stop posts are to be powder coated safety yellow Sch40 steel. Each gate post and back stop post are to be encased in enough concrete and allowed time to cure before setting gates to prevent sagging (minimum 160#, more if needed). All post caps are to be welded. Gate stop posts are to have a welded hook to secure gate chain when open.
