On-Call Sewer and Drain Repairs

The City of Fitchburg invites sealed bids for On-Call Sewer and Drain Repair Services. Bids will be received until February 18th, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the office of the Chief Procurement Officer, City Hall, 718 Main Street, Suite 208, Fitchburg, MA and at the designated time and place publicly opened and recorded.

A bid deposit of at least five percent (5%) of the total project is required. A Performance and A Payment Bond in the sum of 100% of the Contract Price will be required of the successful Bidder. Project is subject to compliance with prevailing wage requirements.

This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30 §39M, and any resulting contract will be strictly awarded in accordance with the requirements of the solicitation. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids.

The City reserves the right to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the scope of work and to negotiate contract terms with the successful bidder.

A Pre-Bid meeting will be held on January 24th, 2025 at 11:00 AM at City Hall, North Meeting Room. Bidders shall examine all information and materials contained in and with this solicitation. Failure to do so shall be at the bidder’s risk.
