INVITATION TO BID
6033 Primeau Place Reclad Project
The Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) invites sealed bids from contractors for the Primeau
Place Reclad Project at 308 14th Ave E Seattle, WA 98112. The work including, but not
limited to, replacing the exterior building envelope and siding, replacement of exterior
doors and windows, and completing energy-efficient upgrades, including interior lighting
replacement and Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) and the Ductless Heat Pump (DHP)
heater installation in 53 apartment units. See drawings and specifications for complete
details.
BID SUBMITTAL: Sealed bids will be received until 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 31,
2026, after which time bids will be publicly opened and read. Each bid must be
accompanied by a surety company bid bond, or a certified or cashier’s check payable to
the order of the Seattle Housing Authority for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the
total amount of the bid. No bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the required
bid submission date.
PRE-BID SITE VISITS: Two pre-bid site visits will be held at the Primeau Place
Apartments at 308 14th Ave E., Seattle, WA 98112.

2. Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 11:00 am
All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend one of the pre-bid site visits.
Non-attendance on the part of the Bidder shall not relieve the Bidder of any responsibility
for adherence to any of the provisions of the bid documents or any Addenda.
OBTAINING BID DOCUMENTS: PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, ADDENDA, AND
PLANHOLDER’S LIST will be available on-line through Builder’s Exchange of Washington,
Inc. Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors may visit http://www.bxwa.com and

Bidding” to download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic
sources, and access a free online digitizer/take-off tool.
BIDS ARE SUBJECT TO STATE LAW. Federal funding requirements may also apply.
