BIKE WAYFINDING SIGNAGE

BID OPENING SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2025 AT 1:00 P.M.,

The City Engineer of the City of Sun Prairie will receive on-line bids for the Public Improvement Projects until 12:59 p.m., local time, September 2 2025 through QuestCDN. Click here to see the bid. Bids are invited upon the following approximate quantities of work:

  1. 145 each installation of signpost with bicycle wayfinding signage
    1. 145 each 12' 12-gauge .105" wall thickness, 2" x 2" galvanized steel square post
    2. 145 each 2.25" x 2/25" x 36" ancho, full punch, galvanized
    3. 145 each 18" sleeve, for 21/2" x 21/s" post
    4. 968 each one-way bolt, 5/15" x 2"
    5. 968 each nut, 5/16", Coarse thread
    6. 968 each nylon washers, 1.5" OD x 3/8" ID, 1/16" thick
    7. 242 each Sun Prairie logo and bike route top sign 24”w x 18”h multicolor
    8. 242 each finger board 24”w x 6”h, one color
  2. 77 each painted shared lane arrow markings (Double Chevron and Bicycle Symbol)

Plans and specifications will be available on-line for a $42.00 fee beginning Friday, August 1 2025 through QuestCDN, Quest eBidDoc #Quest No 9799817 QuestCDN is located using the City of Sun Prairie website at http://www.cityofsunprairie.com, click on “Bid Opportunities”, then click “Engineering Bid Opportunities”, the QuestCDN site will open. In the left-hand navigation click on the project title, a page will open which will allow you to either view or download the plans and view or print the plan holders list.

For this project we will only be accepting on-line electronic bids only through QuestCDN. To access the electronic bid form, download the project documents and click the online bidding button at the top of the advertisement. For electronic bids, electronic bid bonds are required.

The successful bidder shall be required to conform to all Federal and State OSHA requirements as well as to the extent necessary to comply with all Davis-Bacon and/or Wisconsin Prevailing Wage laws.

The City of Sun Prairie reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding process.

Bids may be held by the City of Sun Prairie for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the bid opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
