This is a Request for Information (RFI) for planning purposes only. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the United States Government (hereafter referred to as “Government”) nor will the Government pay for the information solicited. No solicitation document exists or is guaranteed to be issued as a result of this RFI.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Construction Engineering Research Laboratory Building Energy Systems Team (CERL-BEST) is hosting a three-day Industry Forum for Utility Monitoring Control Systems and Cybersecurity of Facility-Related Control Systems (FRCS). This forum is sponsored by the Tri-Services Standards & Criteria Program, and will provide input to future specification and criteria efforts.
CERL-BEST is seeking input from industry regarding topics of importance to address at the Industry Forum.
1. Do you have specific questions or challenges related to the implementation of Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) or Unified Facilities Guidance Specification (UFGS) for facility-related control systems?
2. Are you aware of emerging FRCS-related technologies that should be considered by the DoD for adoption in the near future and discussed at the Industry Forum?
3. Are you aware of current or near-future efforts by a standard organization that should be considered by the DoD for adoption in the near future and discussed at the Industry Forum?
4. Is there any specific topic of interest you would like to see included in the Industry Forum agenda?
Any information you have in response to the questions above should be submitted for consideration to the email box at: IndustryForum1@usace.army.mil no later than 31 October 2024.
The Forum itself will be held in December 2024. Full details for forum registration, including a link to the invitation, can be viewed in the document attached to this RFI posting. Registration must be submitted no later than 19 November 2024.
