The Work for this Project includes, but is not limited to: replacement of the existing Warren Wright Road culvert crossing of Hop Brook (Bridge No. B-05-028), raising of Warren Wright Road, and the addition of a terrestrial organism passage. Work items include excavation and off-site disposal; installation of a bridge crossing and culvert; construction of gabion basket retaining walls; removal, raising, and reconstruction of Warren Wright Road; and restoration of the site.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, questions, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The minimum wages to be paid for all labor on the project are established in a schedule issued by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development, in accordance with Section 26A- 27D, or Chapter 149 of the M.G.L., as amended. Said schedule(s) are included in the bid package.
It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before Bid opening, to request, if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed Work under this Contract. Materials, equipment and supplies to be used on this project are exempt from sales tax to the extent provided by M.G.L. Chapter 64H, Section 6 (f).
