Climate Impacts and Adaptation Research

Description of goods to services to be bid:

NYSERDA seeks proposals for PON 6034 to provide climate impact and adaptation research in four categories: (A) Gap analysis for underreported vulnerable populations; (B) Data and information gaps for indoor air quality and climate change; (C) Compound events; and (D) Advancing the development of ice, wind, and deluge projections.These ? projects should build upon existing efforts and provide results in a form that is useable by policy analysts and policymakers. A single award is anticipated in each of Categories A, B, and C. Multiple awards may be made in Category D. Proposals should demonstrate cost-sharing of at least 25%. Proposal funding caps for each category are described in the full PON.

Eligibility/Qualifications Requirements/Preferences:

The successful proposers must have a project team that can demonstrate the necessary technical and administrative experience needed for successfully completing the research project as well as the depth of personnel available available to perform projects within the categories outlined in the PON. The proposers should be able to communicate the research results in a form that is useable by policy analysts and policymakers.
