Synopsis:
|
|
WSA intends to engage a Contractor to complete the following work, summarized at a high level:
-
Upgrading the existing riffle upstream of Brightwater Creek Reservoir and Dam
-
Replacing the existing standpipe that controls flow through the discharge pipe next to the riffle with a new standpipe and install a hand-operated slide gate
-
Dredging/clearing the creek bed where excess sedimentation and vegetation growth has occurred and leveling the spoil on site

WSA is a Treasury Board Crown corporation within the meaning of The Crown Corporations Act, 1993 (Saskatchewan) that is governed by The Water Security Agency Act (Saskatchewan). WSA is responsible for water management in the Province of Saskatchewan, which includes managing the Province’s water supply, protecting water quality, ensuring safe drinking water and the treatment of wastewater, reducing flood and drought damage, protecting aquatic habitat, and managing dams and related supply channels.
