URBAN & COMMUNITY FORESTRY PROGRAM

The City of Holyoke invites sealed bids for Urban & Community Forestry Program services throughout the City. The locations of tree and vegetation management actions will be as directed by the City.

Please note that this work is separate from the City’s 2023 solicitation for tree and vegetation management because this work is funded thought a federal assistance grant from the National Arbor Day Foundation and ultimately under the authority of Cooperative Forestry Assistance Act. Bidders must be eligible to work under a contract using federal funds.

Beginning at 10:00 AM on October 1, 2024, all project documents will be available from the City of Holyoke Purchasing Department in electronic format only. Submit requests for documents to sweeneye@holyoke.org between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM. Requests shall include firm name and address, contact name and title, email address, and telephone number.

The deadline to submit bid proposals is October 23, 2024, by 2:00PM, at which time all bids received will be publicly opened in compliance with M.G.L. Chapter 30B, Section 39 M, as amended and Chapter 149, Sections 26-27B inclusive and Section 44A-44I inclusive and the City of Holyoke’s Ordinances. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
