The project involves the construction of approximately one mile on Krenek Tap between Texas Ave and the southbound frontage road for SH6. The existing concrete will be removed and replaced with a new concrete section that will include a 10-foot SUP on both sides of the road. Construction will also replace approximately 2,000 linear feet of existing sanity sewer via pipe burst, replace existing storm water sewer, relocation of 4 street light poles, fiber optic conduit the length of the corridor, and relocation of some traffic signal infrastructure at Texas Ave. The City is seeking a construction company with quality experience in road and utility reconstruction.
