Annual Pitchbook renewal for Library for 2026

The Department of Employment and Economic Development intends to renew its 12-month subscription to Pitchbook for Library. DEED uses PitchBook data to show how its programs and grants impact startups and how Minnesota’s startup ecosystem compares with other states. The agency also uses PitchBook to identify investors and business contacts for outreach opportunities.

This purchase has been deemed a single source because PitchBook employs its own researchers to verify information on companies, investors and investment deals. Some PitchBook competitors rely on crowdsourced data, which can be less reliable. PitchBook also includes the greatest number of companies relevant to DEED, provides an investor search function and offers executive emails.
