Space and Security Plan Update

Overview & Scope

Ontario County, a municipal corporation duly organized under the laws of the State of New York is seeking proposals from qualified firms for planning and design services in support of partial reorganization and renovation several buildings including:

• 20 Ontario St, City of Canandaigua
• 3019 County Complex Dr, Town of Hopewell
• 3093 County Complex Dr, Town of Hopewell
• 83 Seneca St, City of Geneva

These buildings are impacted by recent projects and/or changes in programs. The County’s Space and Security Plan, was last updated in 2019-20 and includes more detailed descriptions of the individual County facilities and can be found in Appendix A for reference. The chosen Consultant will be expected to develop deliverables in a format determined by the County. Deliverables include:

• A current and forecasted 10-year individual space programming/space need report for each impacted department and building
• concept drawings of recommended reorganizations and/or improvements,
• concept level cost estimates for each building, and
• a sequence and rough schedule for all recommended reorganization/improvements.
