NOTICE TO BIDDERS
CITY OF LEAGUE CITY, TEXAS
Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 pm, December 18, 2025, and then publicly opened and read
aloud for the following project:
FM 518 and Wesley Street Drainage Improvements Project

The project consists of the following scope of work: The project includes drainage improvements
along FM 518, Wesley Street, and North Wesley Drive, consisting of reinforced concrete boxes, storm
sewer laterals, curb inlets, junction boxes, and roadway reconstruction to restore pavement within
the disturbed areas. The new storm system will outfall to Corum Ditch, providing
improved stormwater conveyance for the area. Storm Water Pollution Prevention measures (SWPPP)
shall be implemented throughout construction to minimize erosion and maintain compliance with
environmental requirements.
Work within the TxDOT right-of-way will be performed under TxDOT Permit No. TR25030070 and in
accordance with the Advance Funding Agreement (AFA CSJ 0976-03-119) between the City and TxDOT. All
construction activities shall follow TxDOT’s Standard Specifications, Traffic Control Plan
Standards, and Special Provisions.
Contractor shall coordinate construction sequencing and traffic control with TxDOT and notify the
TxDOT Galveston Maintenance Office (409-978-2551) at least 72 hours prior to starting work.
The approved TxDOT permit is attached for contractor reference and compliance.
An optional pre-bid conference will be held November 25, 2025, at 2:00 pm, at the City of League
City, Civic Center, 400 W. Walker St., League City, Texas 77573. Prospective Bidders are invited to
attend. Failure to attend will not bar Bidders.
Sealed bids must be submitted with, one marked original, one marked copy, properly labeled and
clearly marked with the Bid number and description, directed to City of League City, Office of the
Purchasing Manager, 300 W. Walker St., League City, Texas 77573. Bids received after that time will
not be accepted. Bids sent via courier must be sealed in a separate envelope inside of the mailer.

download specifications, plans, and bid documents for this project. There is NO charge to view or
download documents.

Bid Security, in the form of Cashier’s Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond, payable to the City of
League City in the amount of 5% of the total base bid price, must accompany each Bid proposal. See

City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
