Bids on the referenced project will be received by the County Administrator in the Greene County Administration Building, 40 Celt Road, Stanardsville, Virginia 22973 until 2:00 P.M., local prevailing time, Thursday, August 20, 2026, and then publicly opened. Bids may be submitted electronically online via eVA using the Bidder’s established eVA Supplier Account. The entire bid response including any / all attachments and any / all addenda must be submitted electronically in eVA no later than the closing date and time stated on the electronic solicitation posting.
Bids may be withdrawn using the procedure set forth in Virginia Code § 2.2-4330 B.1.
The project will consist of the following work:

Sludge removal and disposal from the existing treatment and polishing lagoons at the Stanardsville Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP)

Demolition and closure of Treatment Lagoon No. 2 and Storage Lagoon, and attendant piping and structures at the Stanardsville WWTP

Site grading and drainage improvements for treatment plant lagoons ? New liner, geogrid, concrete access ramp, concrete floor slab, and piping modifications to develop Equalization Lagoon A

Pump Station No. 14 with new weir box structure, wetwell, valve vault, submersible pumps, piping and fittings, standby diesel generator and automatic transfer switch, and electrical improvements

Return Pump Station with submersible pumps, piping and fittings, and electrical improvements

Pump Station No. 1 with wetwell, valve vault, submersible pumps, piping and fittings, standby diesel generator and automatic transfer switch, and electrical modifications

Bid Security: Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or an acceptable bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the base bid.
Bidders must be licensed as contractors in the Commonwealth of Virginia in accordance with Title 54.1, Chapter 11 of the Code of Virginia (1950) as amended.
