2025-491 Harmony Preston Valley State Trail Fencing Replacement

The Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for all labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to remove and dispose of existing fencing, then provide and install approximately 5,200 linear feet of fence (approximately 2,500-2,700 linear feet on each side of the trail) along the paved bike path of the Harmony Preston Valley State Trail located in Fillmore County. Mowing and/or brushing along part of the trail will be required for installation, approximately 450 ft x 8 ft on the west side of the trail corridor and 550 ft x 8 ft on the east side of the trail corridor, see map on page 27 for mowing/brushing locations. Contractor will be responsible for finding a location to dispose of the existing fence and materials they are removing.

Failure to respond to latest event version may result in bid rejection.

Please be aware that there are attachments to this event. The vendor is responsible for reviewing all attachments and complying with all requirements to this Event. DNR will be the determining factor if vendor meets specifications. All questions should be directed to the buyer listed in this event.

Unit price must include all costs such as labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, sales tax, use tax and all else necessary for completion of the project. Direct Pay Permit 1114 does not apply to this project.

Award--Item, Group, Total: Responses that do not comply with the solicitation will be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. The award will be made to the lowest responsible vendor meeting the specifications and all terms and conditions. The State reserves the right to award items separately, by grouping items, or by total, whichever is deemed most advantageous to the State.

Stat. § 181.723, subd. 1(a), who performs public or private building construction or improvement services must be registered with the Department of Labor and Industry (DLI).
