Traffic Signal Design and Construction Administration

A new Pender County Health and Human Services Building (HSS) is being constructed on the east side of Progress Drive in Burgaw, NC. The development is anticipated to be completed in April of 2026. Access to the new site will be from two (2) new driveways along Progress Drive as well as connectivity to the existing Pender County Government Office campus on South Walker Street. Permitting processes for the new HHS Building project have identified the necessity to provide for a new traffic control signal at the intersection of South Walker Street and US-117 South. Pender County is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified Firms to provide traffic control signal design services and related construction administration. All designs and services must meet and/or exceed North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) specifications and all other applicable standards. Click here to view RFQ# 26-409.
