Park Ridge Golf Course Industrial Supply Well (ISW) System Upgrades

Project Description: The proposed work will be contracted to a licensed Florida General Contractor and consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment and materials necessary to perform construction work for the Solid Waste Authority (AUTHORITY) Park Ridge Golf Course Industrial Supply Well (ISW) System located in central Palm Beach County near the northwest corner of Lyons Road and Lantana Road as detailed in the contract documents. It is noted that the Palm Beach County Mosquito Control facility occupies this corner and is located at the southeast corner of this site.
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following:
Replace two (2) surficial aquifer system (SAS) supply wells (ISW-1 and ISW-6) with new wells ISW-1R and ISW-6R.
Plug and abandon existing wells ISW-1 and ISW-6
Install one (1) new SAS supply well (ISW-8)
Equip replacement wells and new well with wellhead, piping, valves, meters, electrical and instrumentation; connect wells to existing irrigation water main
Perform electrical upgrades; construct telemetry station consisting of antenna tower and antenna, RTU/PLC and software
Reconstruct access driveway utilizing the shell, soil, drainage piping, and other site materials from the existing access road at ISW-1 and ISW-6 sites. Construct access driveway with stabilized shell rock and drainage piping at ISW-8 site
There is a Three Percent (3%) S/M/WBE Participation Goal for this project.
