Smith Drive Park – Phase 1

Project Description: Sealed proposals will be received electronically by Hampden Township until 10:00 AM on Friday, July 18, 2025. Bids will be opened via PennBid at 10:00 AM. A bid tabulation summary will be displayed on PennBid by 1:00 PM that same day.
Smith Drive Park – Phase 1 contains three (3) contracts: Contract No. 1 – Site Improvement and Building Contract (General Contract), Contract No. 2 – HVAC/Plumbing Contract, Contract No. 3 –Electrical Contract.
Plans and contract documents are available at no cost on PennBid (www.pennbid.net).
Attendance at a pre-bid conference to be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at the Hampden Township Municipal Building, 209 South Sporting Hill Road, Mechanicsburg, PA at 9:00AM, is recommended for all bidders.
A bid bond or certified check shall accompany each proposal to the Owner in the amount of 10 percent of the total base bid. A non collusion affidavit shall accompany the bid. Bids will be effective for 60 calendar days from the bid opening date and may not be withdrawn during this period. All bidders must bid on all items listed on the Bid Form and on each bidding alternative.
Inquiries shall be submitted using the “Questions” feature in PennBid.
Hampden Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to re-advertise and award the contract in the regular manner or to waive any informality in the bid received and to accept any bid deemed to be most favorable in the interest of Hampden Township.
