This Solicitation will contain one NSN for a MODIFICATION KIT,EL. A formal Solicitation (SF-33) will be solicited for award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The only approved source is THE BOEING COMPANY (CAGE: 82918) P/N 520-13500-501. The NSN and quantity are as follows: NSN 6150-01-585-0229, quantity 29 /each. The requested delivery schedule is 530 days ARO. FOB: Origin; Inspection/Acceptance: Origin. Item is AMC/AMSC 3/B. This is a Airforce Critical Safely Item (CSI) and Critical Application Item (CAI). This Solicitation will be issued as other than full and open competition (no set-aside applies).

The proposed Contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with the approved source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its Solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a Commercial item within 15 days of this notice.

The formal Solicitation (SF-33) will be posted to DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) - DIBBS RFP/IFB/Other RFQs Search Page (dla.mil) on the issue date cited. Enter the solicitation number within the search value area and click the submit button. Solicitations are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents, the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader is required. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requestors.

The anticipated solicitation issue date will be Monday November 25, 2024 and anticipated close date will be Thursday December 26, 2024. The Solicitation will be available via the DIBBS website. Additional information / clarification of capabilities may be requested from interested vendors by the Contracting Specialist. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
