Project Description: Eagle Mountain City is requesting bids from responsible firms or individuals for a project called Mid Valley Road Extension. Construct new roadway on Mid Valley Road from Eagle Mountain Boulevard to Sheps Ridge Road including asphalt pavement, roadside ditch grading, topsoil/reseeding, RCEP culverts, and stormwater storage tanks. Construct new traffic signalized intersection including right and left turn deceleration and acceleration lanes on Eagle Mountain Boulevard including asphalt removal, asphalt pavement, shoulder, roadside ditch grading, and topsoil/reseeding. Provide and install striping and signage and obliterate necessary striping on Eagle Mountain Boulevard and Mid Valley Road. Project to be completed in calendar year 2025.
ATTENTION:
The following documents will be required with bidding documents and/or with a contract award.
** Bid Bond for 5% of the total project required with the bidding documents**
Insurance verification with bid, Certificate of Insurance at contract signing
** 100% Performance Bond will be submitted to EMC by the approved contractor at contract signing **
** 100% Payment Bond will be submitted to EMC by the approved contractor at contract signing **
Any bid received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids will not be considered.
OPENING OF BIDS:
Bids will be opened on or around the bid closing. Results will be posted after bids have been evaluated. Vendors who submit a bid will be notified of the results via email. The email will include a spreadsheet of all vendors, and the amounts of the bids submitted for the project. Please include the name and email address of your contact person in the cover letter so we can send the notification of bid results. Bids will also be posted on Eaglemountaincity.com/purchasing. Once a vendor is chosen for the awarded contract all vendors will be notified of the vendor who will be awarded the contract. The chosen vendor will submit the remaining required insurance, bonds, and other required documentation with a signed contract. The contract that will be signed is uploaded.
