Full-Service Warranty Maintenance for Elevators

The NYS Office of Mental Health and Manhattan Psychiatric Center are seeking to procure, through an Invitation for Bid (IFB), a Contractor to provide Full-Service Warranty Maintenance for Elevators at Manhattan Psychiatric Center located at 102 Rivers Edge Rd, New York, NY 10035.

The Program Work Plan with Preventative Maintenance Tasks, Equipment List, Schedule Matrix, etc. is located in Appendix D of the Contract Boilerplate. Interested Vendors should review the Contract Boilerplate and IFB document for further information. Included with these documents is a Bid Quote Sheet in Excel format that should be used to submit your bid.

A Mandatory site visit will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 9:00 AM EST. Interested bidders are to sign in at the main entrance. Site visit registration can be accomplished by completing and sending the Site Visit Registration Form (Attachment B of the IFB) no later than February 25, 2025, at 3:00 PM EST.

CONTRACT NOTES:

• The elevators noted in the Equipment List (Exhibit B) of the Contract BP, two elevators in Building 106, covered under this contract agreement will be part of an upcoming OGS elevator renovation project that is planned at the Facility. The elevators will begin coverage under the contract terms at contract execution and will then be removed from service under this contract agreement while undergoing renovations. During the renovation timeframe for each elevator the Contractor will not be responsible for the maintenance or be allowed to invoice the bid monthly rate for maintenance, for those elevators that have been removed from service until renovation completion and OMH acceptance of the elevators. The renovated elevators will then begin coverage under the terms of this agreement, with any repairs because of the renovations performed, covered under the one-year construction installation warranty.

Questions from bidders attending the site visit are to be submitted by Wednesday, March 5, by 3:00 PM EST per the instructions in the IFB. Questions and Answers will be sent to all bidders attending the site visit, as well as posted to this ad, on March 12, 2025.

Bids are due no later than 3:00 PM EST on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
