Notice of Bids
The Board of Commissioners of Hancock County will receive bids for Joint and Crack Sealing at
their office in the Hancock County Courthouse Annex, 111 American Legion Place, Greenfield,
IN 46140 until 8:00 A.M. on the 16th day of December, 2025.
Bids will be evaluated based upon inspection, testing, quality, workmanship, delivery and
suitability for particular purpose. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible and
responsive bidder, except that Hancock County retains the right to reject any or all bids when it
is in the best interest of the county.
The specifications will be available beginning November 14, 2025 in the Hancock County
Highway Department, 921 W. Osage, Greenfield, IN, or the county website.

To the Board of County Commissioners of Hancock County, of the State of Indiana; hereinafter
referred to as OWNER:
SEAL JOINTS AND CRACKS
IN SELECTED ROADS IN HANCOCK COUNTY
Pursuant to the legal notice that sealed proposals for the above project would be received by the
Board of County Commissioners of Hancock County, Indiana,
The undersigned hereby tenders this bid to construct the work in accordance with the plans,
profiles, drawings, specifications, and all authorized revisions for this contract which are on file
in the office of the Hancock County Highway Department; and to furnish all necessary
machinery, equipment, tools, labor and other means of construction and to furnish all material
specified in the manner and at the time prescribed and under the supervision and direction of the
OWNER or his duly authorized representative
.
Together with this PROPOSAL, the undersigned has:
A. Filed an Acknowledgment of Receipt of Addendum herewith for each Addendum issued;
B. Filed an Itemized Proposal with a unit price for each item listed, together with a total
amount for all items, based upon the unique characteristics of this contract;
C. Executed the Form No. 96 filed herewith;
D. Filed a properly executed Bid Bond or certified check made payable to the Hancock
County Auditor herewith in an amount greater than or equal to ten percent (10%) of the
total amount of this proposal;
E. Furnished a Power of Attorney for the agent signing the Bid Bond;
F. Executed the Non-Collusion affidavit filed herewith;
If awarded the contract, the undersigned promises to prosecute the work so as to complete the
contract within the time specified in the Special Provisions.
