Description:

OBJECTIVE

The City’s objective is to prequalify interested Contractors to provide utilities, renovation, maintenance, andrepair services on as as-needed basis throughout Flagler Beach. Work categories include: (1) Electrical; (2)Underground Utility Contractor; (3) Concrete Curbing/Sidewalks; (4) Fire Hydrant repair/replacement; (5)Signs/Lighting (6) Lift Stations

SCOPE OF SERVICES

The scope of services (“Services”) for this project shall require the selected Contractor to perform underground utilities, renovation, or repair services based on their qualifications and abilities, as determined by the needs of each project. Each project shall have a scope of work that is independent and stand alone, which shall be established at the time the City requests a pricing proposal from an awarded Contractor regarding a specific project, or scope of work. At no time shall any work be performed under the awarded Contract(s) without a fully executed Task Order, as issued by Flagler Beach.

Below are the general scopes of work for each work category of Utilities, Renovation, and Repair Services which may be provided under the awarded multi-year contract(s). This is not intended to be a comprehensive or exhaustive scope of services, but a general reference to the types of work/tasks that may be required by the City. The exact nature and magnitude of the services to be performed shall be defined at the time that work is awarded by Task Order.

1. Electrical:

Project services shall include but are not limited to furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, rentals, permitting as applicable, and subcontractors necessary for licensed electrical services related to miscellaneous, as needed electrical work for City utilities. Services may include, and are not limited to, installation and repair of electric systems, dedicated circuits, outlets, generators, and interior/exterior light fixtures, lift station control panels and pumps.

2. Underground Utility Contractor:

Project services shall include but are not limited to furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, rentals, permitting, and subcontractors necessary for provision of on-demand, as-needed underground utility, repair and rehabilitation work for minor construction projects for the City. Underground Utility projects may include water mains, sewer mains, Slip lining, lift stations, water valves, backflow devices, asphalt/concrete patching and other miscellaneous repairs, as directed by the City.

3. Concrete Curbing/Sidewalks

Project services shall include but are not limited to furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, rentals, permitting, and subcontractors necessary for concrete services which include, but are not limited to installing, repairing, demolition, maintaining, curbing, pavers and sidewalks owned and/or operated by the City.

4. Fire Hydrant repair/replacement

Project services shall include but are not limited to furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, rentals, and subcontractors necessary for the installation, repair, and maintenance of Fire Hydrants.

5. Signs/Lighting:

Project services shall include but are not limited to furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, rentals, and subcontractors necessary for the installation, repair, and maintenance of signage/poles and exterior lighting.

6. Lift Stations:

Project services shall include but are not limited to furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, rentals, and subcontractors necessary for the installation, repair, and maintenance of Lift Stations, including control panels, grease cleanup, and wet well rehabilitation/lining.
