Description
The purpose of this synopsis is to provide notification of the Government?s expected solicitation release set for the date of on or around 21 August 2025. The Solicitation Number will be W15QKN-25-R-A073. The Army Contracting Command ? New Jersey (ACC-NJ) is procuring a new requirement for the Replacement of Light Fixtures at the Chili USARC in Rochester, NY, on behalf of the 99th Readiness Division (RD). The Government intends to issue the solicitation as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set Aside preference for this requirement. The Contractor shall have 240 Calendar Days from the Notice to Proceed Date to complete all tasks associated with the Specification of Work. This requirement will be funded utilizing 2025 Operations and Maintenance ? Army Reserve (OMAR) funds. The solicitation will result in a new Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract awarded to the lowest priced responsible, responsive offeror, whose approach meets the requirements of the solicitation. Z2AZ - Repair or Alteration of Other Administrative Facilities and Service Buildings North American Industry Classification Standards (NAICS) code - 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors36.204 DISCLOSURE OF THE MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction is: Between $250,000 and $500,000The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and transportation to accomplish the following work, which consists of but is not limited to retrofitting identified lighting appliances with new LED equivalent lighting. All work shall include but not be limited to the removal and replacement of fluorescent components, ballasts and emergency egress battery backup systems, and installation of vandal-resistant lighting appliances and dimmable motion sensor lighting switches. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state and federal regulations. Please note that this notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). Site visits will be scheduled and identified in the forthcoming solicitation. This acquisition will require a bid guarantee and payment and performance bonds in accordance with FAR 28.102Award is anticipated on or about 25 September 2025.All potential sources must obtain a Unique Entity ID (UEI) Number, a CAGE code, register in the System for Award Management (SAM) located at https://sam.gov/ in order to transact business with the Government. Failure to obtain a UEI number, a CAGE Code and register in the SAM database may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror.
