Description

The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity – Healthcare Contracting Division - South intends to award a sole source requirement for the Rees Scientific Temperature and Environmental Monitoring System maintenance and service plan to Rees Scientific Corporation (Cage Code 04DK0). This requirement is for preventive maintenance and repair services for the Rees Scientific Temperature Monitoring System and temperature monitoring devices at Naval Hospital Pensacola and associated branch clinics. The contractor shall provide trained personnel for on-site support, to include travel, supplies, parts, tools, test equipment, consumables, hardware, and software necessary to perform all operations in connection with scheduled preventative maintenance, calibration procedures and unscheduled repair visits as needed to maintain the equipment. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance; the business size standard is $34,000,000.



The authority for this non-competitive award is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), Only one responsible Source. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Other than Full and Open Procedure IAW FAR part 6 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the vendor’s ability to service and maintain the Rees Scientific Monitoring System, including access to proprietary software, tools, and qualified personnel. If no affirmative written responses are received by 4:00 P.M. (CST) on 8 April 2026, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
