Standby Generator Install in Ulster County

The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) Contract Management Unit, Design and Construction, on behalf of the Taconic DDSOO, is soliciting sealed bids from responsible and qualified contractors to perform required work for Standby Generator Install at 102 South Chodikee Lake Road, Highland, NY 12528.

The Project Manual and Drawings for the project may be obtained via the Documents tab for this project advertisement. Bids for this project must be received prior to the time of the Bid Opening, as detailed in the Project Manual full Advertisement for Bids.

Contractors who are interested in submitting a Bid for this project should carefully examine and be familiar with the Drawings and Specifications, and the Project Manual including all Bidding, Contracting, and General Requirement Specification Documents.

Site Visit: Bidders are strongly urged to attend the Site Visit(s) to be held at 1 PM on Monday April 21, 2025, and 9 AM on Wednesday April 23, 2025, to take field measurements and examine existing conditions of the project area. It is the responsibility of the bidder to know the site(s) requirements based upon the work being requested.

Bid Security deposit will be required in the amount specified in the full Advertisement for Bids.

The Selected Low Bidder will be responsible for providing documentation of mandatory pre-award submittal requirements, including but not limited to: Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire (CCA-2), references and experience, list of proposed sub-contractors, detailed estimate, and proof of required insurances.

Prevailing Wages will apply.

Please be advised: Effective December 30, 2024, all contractors and subcontractors submitting bids or performing construction work on public work projects covered by Article 8 of the Labor Law are required to register with the New York State Department of Labor under Labor Law Section 220-i.
