New York State Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to seek qualified, responsive, and responsible vendors who are authorized reseller partners of Salesforce AND are certified as a New York State Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB), for Salesforce products and services. This opportunity is limited to vendors certified by the NYS Office of General Services as Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses, as an SDVOB set aside procurement under the terms of NYS Executive Law, Article 17-B.

The State is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to consolidate Salesforce license renewals and new purchases into a single procurement, allowing ITS to achieve economies of scale, secure better pricing, and ensure consistent access to Salesforce’s cloud platform. Salesforce helps government agencies streamline core functions such as case management, licensing, benefits, and inspections—replacing manual processes with faster, more efficient digital tools. This RFP aims to equip ITS with a flexible, scalable solution that improves service delivery, reduces costs, and supports a wide range of public programs.

Salesforce offers a variety of cloud solutions, each designed to address specific business needs and functions. For Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Salesforce's deployment model for government agencies is known as Government Cloud.
