Land Surveying Contractual Services for Poverty Hill Wildlife Management Area

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (Department) is seeking Request for Qualifications (RFQ) Submittals, including Technical Proposals, from qualified consultants to provide surveying and mapping services on property situated in the Towns of Mansfield and Ellicottville, Cattaraugus County, NY. The objective of this contract is to obtain a complete boundary survey (research, field survey, mapping, monumentation, and report of survey) of about 990 acres of recently acquired lands by the People of the State of New York, now under jurisdiction of the Department.

There is approximately 50,000 feet of boundary to be located, where ±41,400 feet will require marking as outlined in the Project Specifications.

All vendors must be on the Department’s pre-qualified list of Surveyors in order to submit a proposal. Deadline to register for pre-qualified list is Tuesday, April 22, 2025, COB.

A Mandatory Virtual Scoping Session will be held at 12:00 P.M-1:00 PM., Tuesday, April 15th, 2025, via Webex. This meeting is mandatory, pre-registration is required, and no in person arrangements will be made. No consideration will be given to proposals submitted by firms who do not pre-register and attend.

Subcontracting / teaming is allowed; ALL potential subcontractor (secondary) firms must be present at the scoping session and be on the pre-qualified list of surveyors.

Proposers must register for the scoping session in advance by Friday, April 11th, 2025, 1:00 PM. The link for registration will be provided to those requesting the RFQ Documents from the designated contact.

Scoping session materials will be provided to all pre-registered proposers by COB, Friday, April 11th, 2025, using the e-mail provided at registration.
