Description: The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is seeking tub grinder services for Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park Preserve located at 1395 Planting Fields Road Oyster Bay, NY 11771. Vendor must provide the tub grinder, personnel, and fuel. Piles of wood to be estimated around 50 trees, varying sizes of up to 42 inches. All trees/wood debris must be double ground. Work must be completed in July 2025 during three (3) 8-hour days. Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm. An optional site visit will be held from May 23rd to May 30th. For this procurement, OPRHP requests that Good Faith Efforts are taken to include MWBE/SDVOB vendors where there is subcontracting availability. These efforts should be documented as, if asked, you must be able to produce a record of the actions taken to include MWBE/SDVOB vendors.
