This is a reissue of RFQ 2032H8-25-Q-00046 to update the PWS and line items with the correct size of the main dock compactor and to add a pricing sheet for quotes.
The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, insurance, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and vehicles necessary for nonconfidential solid waste (trash) collection and disposal services from two Government owned compactors located
at the main IRS building, 1160 West 1200 South, Ogden, UT 84201.
The Contractor shall remove and transport the waste to the Weber County Transfer Station -Solid Waste Recycling facility, 867 W. Wilson Lane, Ogden, Utah.
The Government will provide two compactors to be used for disposal of non-classified solid waste.
The main dock compactor is a Marathon RJ 250SC-34 "Signature Series" self contained compactor, 34 cubic yard and is located in bay #5 of the southwest dock.
The cafeteria compactor is a Marathon Vert-I-Pack, 6 cubic yard, and is located on the east side cafeteria dock.
One key to the compactor will be provided to the vehicle driver to be kept in the vehicle for use. The Contractor shall immediately report to the POC any occurrence of lost keys. At the conclusion of the contract period, including any option periods, the Contractor shall return the key to the POC.
Award will be made to the lowest priced/technically acceptable (LPTA) quote. The government intends to evaluate quotes and make award(s) without exchange with offerors. However, the government reserves the right to conduct exchanges if later determined by the contracting officer to be necessary.
