Description: NYS OGS is seeking a contractor to perform inventory, material relocation, and disposal services at Marcy Warehouse in Brooklyn, NY. The warehouse contains approximately 2,744 pallets of boxes housing various PPE equipment. Approximately 1,400 pallets will need to be relocated to an alternate storage facility near Oriskany, NY. The remaining pallets of materials must be disposed of. All boxes must be inventoried to determine which materials will be relocated and which will be disposed of. Individual boxes must be inventoried, sorted by content, labeled, stacked together on pallets, and shrink wrapped. All pallets, regardless of designation, must be neatly stacked and prepared for removal/hauling; in cases where boxes are falling over/off of the pallets, they must be repalletized. Each box must be clearly labeled to indicate the contents of each box and whether the box should be retained or disposed of. Pallets must then be labeled to indicate whether each contains materials to be relocated or disposed of. The contents of each individual box do not need to be counted; contractor only needs to confirm the type of inventory in each box for labeling and palletizing purposes. Equipment List for Retention:
There are approximately 2,000,000 surgical gowns among the pallets from the vendor Thread Counsel and/or Laws of Motion.
There are approximately 4,000,000 masks from Denim & More, LLC and/or Bay Promo, LLC. Equipment List for Destruction/Disposal:
Boxes to be retained should be palletized together so that whole pallets can be moved to an alternate storage location. Pallets containing boxes for retention must be clearly inventoried/marked with a unique identifier and the label “RETAIN”. Boxes for destruction should be palletized together so that whole pallets can be moved to a destruction facility. Pallets containing boxes for destruction must be clearly inventoried/marked with a unique identifier and the label “DESTROY” or “DISPOSE”. The vendor must supply NYS OGS with an inventory record indicating which boxes of which materials are packed on which pallets. All equipment necessary to perform inventory must be provided by the contractor i.e. forklift, forklift operators, pallet jacks, shrink wrap, labels etc.
Once inventory is complete, the vendor must provide logistics management and all equipment necessary to move the pallets labeled “RETAIN” from the Marcy Ave warehouse to the alternate upstate warehouse.
We would like this project to be complete, including all inventory, hauling and destruction services, as soon as possible. Due Date: 04/08/2025 2:00 PMContract Term: Location: Marcy Armory, 355 Marcy Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11206 Ad Type: Requests for information (RFI) and Requests for Comment (RFC)
