CLIMATE POLLUTION REDUCTION GRANT PROGRAM - COMPREHENSIVE
AGREEMENT NUMBER: CPRG-CFS-002
CITY OF FORT SMITH, ARKANSAS
The City of Fort Smith has received a subaward from the Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment (E&E), Division of Environmental Quality (DEQ), under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG) Program. The purpose of this funding is to support the development of a regional Comprehensive Action Plan (CAP) to guide greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction in the Fort Smith region.
The CAP must align with EPA guidance and support long-term implementation of GHG reduction strategies. It will build upon existing municipal efforts and cover transportation, energy, housing, workforce development, public health, and environmental justice priorities.
The City seeks a qualified consultant to assist with development and delivery of the CAP, including technical analysis, public engagement, project concept development, risk mitigation, and Board coordination. This contract is federally funded and subject to all applicable federal, state, and local procurement and grant requirements.
