Medstead Central School Renovation

Emailed tenders for the renovation of the school identified as Medstead Central School Renovation, located at 409 4th Street, Medstead, Saskatchewan, will be received until 2:00 p.m. Saskatchewan Time, April 29, 2025, on behalf of Living Sky School Division 202. Opening of emailed bids will be closed to the public.

Work comprises of various improvements and renovations to the schools’ mechanical systems, electrical systems, abatement of ACMs, and architectural finishes. The school will remain operational for a portion of the construction period, based on the school year.

Between the dates of May 5, 2025 and August 29, 2025 there will be ongoing renovations to the school’s gymnasium under a separate contract. During this period there will be other Contractors at the school but their access with be limited to the gymnasium and the corridor connecting the gym to the school.

A Mandatory Site Examination Meeting for General Contractors, Mechanical Contractors, Electrical Contractors, and Asbestos Contractors has been scheduled for April 8, 2025, at 10:00 am Local Time. The meeting will be held on site at Medstead Central School, 409 4th Street, Medstead, SK. The meeting will commence at the front doors of the school.

Tenders must be accompanied by the specified Bid Bond and Letter of Surety payable to Living Sky School Division 202 and Bid Enclosures as specified.

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to reject tenders from parties without reasonable acquaintance with the class of work specified. Evidence of competency shall be provided if requested. These reservations shall apply equally to subcontractors.
