Hydrologic Engineering Review Services

The Department of Water Resources (DWR), Division of Safety of Dams (DSOD), invites qualified firms to submit a Statement of Qualification (SOQ). One technical expert will provide hydrologic engineering services, to serve as a member of a technical review board (herein referred to as the Board). DSOD is undertaking a comprehensive review of its internal hydrologic engineering procedures in support of its regulatory responsibilities under the California Dam Safety Program. The Board will independently review and provide written and oral recommendations regarding DSOD¿s internal Hydrology Manual, proposed hydrologic policies, technical methodologies, and engineering practices related to the safety and performance of jurisdictional-sized dams.

The Board will be composed of three experts, and board members will be retained under separate contracts.
