The City of Oakland proposes to improve the existing bike and pedestrian facilities on 27th Street between Telegraph Avenue and Harrison Street, and Bay Place between Harrison Street and Grand Avenue. The proposed improvements include curb ramps, storm drain systems, concrete-separated protected bike lanes, buffered Class II bike lanes, pedestrian refuges, transit boarding islands, signage and striping, traffic signal upgrades, and landscaping.
