Project Description: TARC is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide a modern, scalable, and cloud-based or on-premise Interactive Voice Response (IVR) solution. The primary objective is to provide passengers with automated, real-time transit data through an intuitive telephonic interface.
The solution must seamlessly integrate with TARC’s GTFS and GTFS-RT data feeds to provide accurate arrival predictions, schedules, and service alerts. As the agency’s primary inbound call line, the system must feature a fully configurable menu structure with robust transfer capabilities. The selected Vendor will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the project—including design, implementation, and ongoing support. TARC intends to award a Fixed-Price contract for an initial four-year term, with three (3) two-year renewal options.
