Description

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is conducting market research to assess the availability and suitability of U.S. built and designed Offshore Supply Vessels (OSVs) that could be purchased and/or leased to support near-term mission operations in the Gulf of America and Caribbean Sea. This Request for Information (RFI) supports the Coast Guard’s exploration of commercially available OSVs to complement existing USCG surface asset capabilities to provide logistics support, potential limited law enforcement capability, increased maritime domain awareness, and to extend the range and endurance of other USCG surface assets.

The USCG is also offering respondents the opportunity to participate in optional one-on-one virtual sessions with agency stakeholders on June 27, 2025, to support clarification and industry engagement. Additional details are outlined in the attached RFI.
