This project involves the removal and replacement of the existing fire pump and diesel engine assembly, including the installation of a new concrete base, re-installation of existing fuel tank, associated piping, electrical connections, and fire alarm system upgrades. The intent is to provide a fully functional, code-compliant fire pump system.
The existing Fire pump and engine assembly suffered coolant loss from a power failure which led to overheating and irreparable engine damage. There is a temporary fire pump connected on site until the project is completed.
