Title: Southwest Storage and Repump Facility
Addenda: 0
Release Date: 5/8/2026
Due Date: 6/25/2026
The project consists of constructing a new two‑million‑gallon potable water storage tank, a high‑service pump station, and a combined electrical/IT/chemical storage building. Work includes all associated civil site development, concrete foundations, mechanical systems, electrical and instrumentation installations, and integration of all components in full compliance with Volusia County Utilities standards and all applicable permit requirements.
The completed project will enhance system capacity, improve operational reliability, and support long‑term potable water service needs for the County's Southwest Service Area.
This project is a critical infrastructure improvement intended to enhance water quality, increase system reliability, and strengthen fire flow protection for existing customers. Additionally, the expanded storage and pumping capacity will support anticipated residential and commercial growth in the southern section of DeBary, ensuring the utility system can meet both current and future demand.
