Subject: Invitation to Innovation and Reverse Innovation Industry Days

Description

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ) invites interested vendors and industry stakeholders to participate in two upcoming events focused on fostering innovation in federal acquisition:

1. Innovation Industry Day

Date: Monday, June 16th, 2025

Time: 2:00pm EST – 4:00pm EST

Format: In-Person/Virtual [limited virtual capacity]

This session will highlight the agency’s acquisition innovation priorities and showcase current and emerging strategies to modernize how we buy. Participants will learn about innovation initiatives, hear success stories, and explore opportunities to collaborate on new approaches to procurement.

2. Reverse Innovation Industry Day

Date: Monday, August 4th, 2025

Time: 2:00pm EST – 4:00pm EST

Format: In-Person/Virtual [limited virtual capacity]

This event flips the script—we’ll listen to you. Vendors are invited to share commercial best practices, emerging technologies, innovative solutions, and creative acquisition strategies that the federal government could adopt or adapt. We are especially interested in hearing from small businesses, startups, and non-traditional contractors.
